Ajilon Consulting is searching for an experienced embedded/wireless developer for a 9-12 month assignment in the Ottawa area.
The successful candidate must have 3-5 years demonstrated experience in embedded and wireless development.
Experience with wireless UMTS and telecommunications products using C, C++, VXWorks would be considered an asset.
The ideal candidate should also have experience with real-time systems, should have an understanding of wireless systems, should be comfortable coding in C++/C.
Nice to have skills:
1. Software engineering knowledge (3yrs +)
2. Software development experience in a UNIX/Linux and VxWorks environment (C++, C, debugging tools, etc.) (3Yrs+)
3. Strong C/C++ programming skills with industrial experience (3-5 yrs)
4. Network Management training and experience (2yrs+)
5. Object Oriented design (3yrs+)
6. Real time software development experience (2Yrs+)
7. Strong problem solving & decision making skills
8. Strong written & oral communication skills
9. Knowledge of 3GPP specs and communication protocols
10.Familiar with Clearcase and UCM environment
