Purpose of Position:
To manage the administration of the Investment Executive (I.E.s) business
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the responsibilities of an Administrative Associate the Senior
Associate is responsible for the overall administration of the IEs business
including:
Ensuring the effective administration of all aspects the IEs business;
Ensuring all account documentation meets ScotiaMcLeod and industry standards;
Working with internal and external resources to improve efficiencies in the
administration of the IEs business;
Responsible for providing proactive and effective client service
EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
Musts:
Fully licensed as an IR;
Minimum of 5 years full service brokerage industry experience;
Extensive administrative experience including establishing and maintaining
effective processes;
In-depth product knowledge;
Completion of additional Continuing Education requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to build internal and external relationships;
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines;
Strong organizational skills and consistent follow through;
Demonstrated client service skills;
Ability to effectively act independently and as part of a team;
Ability to take initiative with minimum direction;
Demonstrated leadership skills;
Preferreds:
Relevant licensing as required by the IEs business, e.g. insurance, options;
CSIs Operations course
